We don't know about you, but we're pretty excited about seeing David Tennant in the host's seat of the brand, spanking new Channel 4 comedy panel game, Comedy World Cup this Saturday (15th September 8.20pm) and we just got even more excited when we clapped eyes on these shiny promotional images from the show - not to mention the star studded line up that will ensure that the Comedy World Cup becomes a firm favourite in your weekend viewing!
Episode one will see Team captain Jo Brand, with Dave Spikey and Shappi Khorsandi, take on team captain Jason Manford, with Nicholas Parsons and Paul Chowdhr.
David referees the two teams of comedians as they compete against each other in a hilarious knockout competition.
In each episode the teams, whose careers and comedy know-how span a total of 100 years, pit their wits against each other in a series of rounds. The second show sees team captain Alan Carr with Sara Pascoe and Clive Anderson pit their wits against captain Micky Flanagan with Kevin Bridges and Stan Boardman.
