Broadchurch Tops 7 Million Viewers Again



ITV drama Broadchurch continued to intrigue audiences as it pulled in another 7 million viewers last night. Episode 4 was watched by 6.88 million viewers at 9pm (28.1% of the audience share) with a further 308k (1.79%) catching up on ITV+1. The series dropped slightly over 400k viewers from its record high last week, but still easily won its time slot.

On other channels at 9pm, Motorway Cops brought 2.67 million viewers (10.9%) to BBC One and the documentary Boris Johnson: The Irresistible Rise was watched by 2.39 million (9.77%) on BBC Two. Channel 4's Embarrassing Bodies was seen by 1.71m (6.9%) and Channel 5's Robson's Extreme Fishing Challenge brought in 868k (3.5%).

Broadchurch stars David Tennant and Olivia Colman as a police detective duo investigating the murder of a boy in a small West Country seaside town. Episode 5 will be shown on ITV on Monday 1st April at 9pm.
