David Tennant Appears On Red Nose Day 2013: Funny For Money

David Tennant was a guest on the 2013 Red Nose Day appeal: Funny For Money.

David's first appearance on the night was at the end of the hour presented by Davina McCall and John Bishop. John had reminded Davina of her tendency to snog her co-presenters on the show, including, famously, David back in 2009. Davina promised John his own special 'Tennant moment' later on, only for a blindfolded John to be ambushed by a red-lipsticked David and wrestled to the floor in a passionate embrace.

David later returned following the rebroadcast of his moving appeal video from his trip to Uganda for the 2011 appeal showing the horrifiying effects of malaria on children. He reminded us of the importance of donating and the good work that every penny does in going to prevent needless deaths from a preventable disease.

He also introduced Brits award winning singer Tom Odell.
