USA: St. Trinian's 2 Movie Download Available From Today



Freestyle Digital Media are releasing the VOD version of David Tennant's 2009 comedy film St. Trinian's 2: The Legend Of Fritton's Gold today. The movie will debut on most VOD platforms including iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, DirecTV and Cable Networks with a DVD release to be announced shortly.


The film features Rupert Everett (My Best Friend’s Wedding), Academy Award Winner Colin Firth (The King’s Speech), David Tennant (Doctor Who, Broadchurch)), Gemma Arterton (Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunter) and Juno Temple (Lovelace). It is directed and produced by Oliver Parker and Barnaby Thompson and written by Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft.

The Legend Of Fritton's Gold tells of the adventure of a group of British boarding school girls as they go on the hunt for buried treasure after discovering that headmistress Miss Fritton (Everett) is related to a famous pirate.

Plot Summary
The naughty girls of St Trinian’s are at it again! It’s a new semester and the schoolgirls return to the usual chaos and excitement. After discovering headmistress, Miss Fritton (Rupert Everett) is related to a famous pirate, Celia (Juno Temple) and her friends go on an adventurous hunt for buried treasure. The girls must face their most fearsome rivals yet but the feisty and ever-resourceful girls of St Trinian’s are undeterred in their mission to outwit the villainous Sir Piers Pomfrey (David Tennant) and his sidekicks from the women-hating secret society known as AD1. Also starring Colin Firth and Toby Jones.
