Radio Times have announced that UK TV channel Watch is to air the BBC America series The Doctors Revisited as part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations.
The eleven part series has been airing in monthly installments in the USA and was recently shown on UKTV in Australia and New Zealand. Each special covers one incarnation of the Doctor and the shows have featured exclusive interviews with surviving Doctors and their companions, and with programme makers and other stars connected with the programme. Of the episodes aired so far, David Tennant has contributed to the first five.
The Doctors Revisited will begin airing in the second week of October. The programmes will complement the BBC schedule announced by the BBC on Tuesday that will celebrate the anniversary on TV and radio - click here for more details.
The next episode of The Doctors Revisited to air in the USA will cover the Ninth Doctor played by Christopher Eccleston and will premiere on BBC America on Sunday 29th September.
