Dolphins: Spy In The Pod Performs Well Despite Strong Competition

Episode 1 of Dolphins: Spy In The Pod narrated by David Tennant was watched by 4.9 million viewers last night, a 20.4% audience share. At its height the programme peaked at 5.3 million viewers. It was an impressive audience share considering it was scheduled against strong competition: Emmerdale at 8pm and returning sitcom Birds Of A Feather, starring David's Broadchurch co-star Pauline Quirke, which drew in 7.8m (31.9%) between 8.30 - 9pm.

The first episode of Dolphins: Spy In The Pod will be repeated this Sunday at 4.35pm on BBC One. The series concludes on BBC One on Thursday 9th January at 8pm.
