Watch a video trailer for the Fathom special event Doctor Who + Wings: a celebration of David Tennant coming to selected US cinema screens in June.
BBC Worldwide and Fathom Events have joined forces to present a special two night event on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th June. One ticket allows fans entry to both nights to enjoy two very different but very exciting David Tennant features.
Monday 16th June
The event kicks off with a special screening of the Doctor Who double episode adventure Rise Of The Cybermen and The Age Of Steel (2006), co starring Billie Piper, Noel Clarke and Roger Lloyd Pack. The episodes are seamlessly edited together into one continuous story just for this screening. This will be followed by an exclusive specially recorded interview with David himself reflecting on his time as the Doctor.
Tuesday 17th June
Soar alongside birds in a groundbreaking 3D aerial adventure
narrated by David Tennant. Specially recut for cinemas from the BBC/PBS natural
history series Earthflight, Wings 3D, presented in RealD™ 3D, will put you high
in the sky, in the middle of flocks of birds as they soar above the most iconic
landscapes and witness the greatest animal spectacles on Earth. The feature also
includes footage specially shot just for Wings 3D – filmmaker John Downer
assures viewers that birds will seem to fly directly out of the screen.
