VIDEO: David Tennant & Greg Doran On The Andrew Marr Show

David Tennant and Gregory Doran appeared in a pre-recorded interview on The Andrew Marr Show on BBC One this morning to talk about the Royal Shakespeare Company's plans for the celebration of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. With big plans afoot to celebrate the Bard throughout 2016, and on the eve of the RSC's announcement of an astounding new production, Greg hints that he has more roles in the pipeline for David, while David refuses to be drawn on whether Marvel's Jessica Jones will be a springboard for future Hollywood blockbuster roles.

David Tennant is currently reviving his award-winning performance as the King in the RSC's Richard II at the Barbican Theatre in London, part of the ambitious four-play event King & Country: Shakespeare's Great Cycle Of Kings. Later this spring the company will move across the Atlantic to perform the cycle at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York. See the Richard II section of our site for all the latest news.
