David Tennant Longlisted In 68th Emmy Awards For Marvel's Jessica Jones Performance

David Tennant has been put forward for the 2016 Emmys. He is listed on the longlist for Best Supporting Actor In A Drama Series for his role as Kilgrave in Marvel's Jessica Jones.

Here is his listing on the ballot paper:
There are 388 actors within the category for members to consider casting their vote for.
The longlist is just the first part of the voting process leading up to the live presentation event on Sunday 18th September. At this stage the categories are huge with most TV networks and online providers submitting many of the lead and supporting stars from their shows. The first vote will run until 10pm on Monday 27th June and will whittle the names in each category down to half a dozen.
The Academy will announce the resulting Emmy nominations the morning of Thursday 14th July 2016 from the Wolf Theatre at its new Saban Media Center in North Hollywood, CA.

The 68th Emmy Awards, including the star-studded Red Carpet preshow, will telecast live from The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Sunday 18th September (7:00-11:00 pm ET/4:00-8:00 pm PT) on ABC. Emmy Award-winning live television and event producer Don Mischer will executive produce the broadcast hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Marvel's Jessica Jones itself is longlisted for Outstanding Drama and the episodes " AKA Crush Syndrome" and "AKA Ladies Night" are also longlisted for the Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series category.

David was awarded a Daytime Emmy in 2013 for his voice performance as Huyang in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and last year saw him on the longlists for both Gracepoint and Broadchurch.

Marvel's Jessica Jones is available to stream now exclusively on Netflix.
