David Tennant Wins Best Supporting Actor For Jessica Jones In EW's Poppy Awards

Thanks to everyone who voted for David Tennant in Entertainment Weekly's Poppy Awards. He has been crowned the winner of the Best Supporting Actor category with a whopping 27% of the votes cast in his favour!

David, who was nominated for his role as the devilish Kilgrave in Marvel's Jessica Jones, beat off stiff competition from the likes of Christian Slater and Alan Cumming to take the title.
The series itself also came second in the Best Drama Series category, losing out to the runaway winner Outlander.

The Awards are Entertainment Weekly's way of rewarding the stars and shows that they felt were snubbed by the Emmys.

Marvel's Jessica Jones is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
