David Tennant Cast As Scrooge McDuck In Disney's All New DuckTales!



Disney XD today announced that David Tennant will be a member of the voice cast for their eagerly anticipated DuckTales reboot. David will be taking on the iconic role of the billionaire feathery fellow Scrooge McDuck.

The series is set to debut in 2017 on Disney XD and will also feature Scrooge's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie played by Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, and Bobby Moynihan.

Beck Bennett as Launchpad, Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley, and Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack make up the cast regulars and Disney fans are in for a treat as they can also expect appearances from Donald Duck, Flintheart Glomgold, Gyro Gearloose, Duckworth, Gizmoduck, Magica DeSpell, Gladstone Gander, and Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys.

The show will be executive-produced by Matt Youngberg (Ben 10: Omniverse), with Francisco Angones (Wander Over Yonder) as story editor and co-producer, and Sean Jimenez (Gravity Falls) as art director.
